Velocity Frequent Flyer, the award-winning loyalty program of Virgin Australia, recently marked the 7 millionth member joining the program, meaning around one in three Australians are now receiving the rewards and unique benefits unlocked by Velocity.

To celebrate this milestone, Velocity is giving away 7 million Velocity Points over the next 48 hours. The giveaway is being launched on Velocity’s Facebook page, and every member who registers receives an even slice of the 7 million Points.

Velocity Frequent Flyer Chief Marketing Officer Dean Chadwick said: “Our 7 Million Points Slice is our way of saying thanks to our members for their loyalty.

“The concept is very simple. If one person registers, they receive 7 million Points, or if 7 million people register, they receive one Point each. Velocity is all about making our member’s dreams come true so what better way to celebrate this milestone than by having the ultimate giveback,” Mr Chadwick said.
